What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Analyst who will analyze inventory and procurement data to ensure optimal stock levels, maximize sales opportunities, and drive profitability through strategic purchasing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sourcing reliable vendors, negotiating favorable terms, managing the purchase order process, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

What are you expected to do?

Core Functions

• Issue purchase orders for re-buy items and new items as authorized by the relevant Merchandiser or Brand Manager.
• Source and maintain relationships with qualified domestic and international vendors to secure the best terms for the company.
• Conduct supplier evaluations based on price, quality, service, and other relevant criteria.
• Procure high-quality merchandise at the most competitive prices and in appropriate quantities.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and associated documentation.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of approved factories and vendors.
• Analyze inventory and product data to inform reorder decisions and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Track and manage purchase orders for new products in line with minimum order requirements.
• Review and validate shipping advice, unconfirmed orders, and sales confirmations.
• Update shipment schedules, pricing, and packaging details as required.
• Regularly review open purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Lead negotiations on pricing and delivery schedules to secure the best outcomes.
• Identify procurement issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Track PO status and pricing adjustments; communicate updates to Merchandisers/Brand Managers.
• Ensure vendor compliance with purchasing procedures and assess vendor performance.
• Review vendor invoices and coordinate with Accounting for payment; resolve any discrepancies.
• Cultivate and maintain positive vendor relationships to support long-term success.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for other Purchasing Department team members as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Education & Experience

You’ll be a great fit if:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a purchasing, supply chain, or procurement role.
• Experience with both domestic and international sourcing and purchasing.
  
  

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with U.S. import procedures and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems (Advantage system a plus).
  
  

Soft Skills

• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

What happens after you submit your application?

The Whole Process Takes Around 4 Weeks

• There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
• We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
• If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
