About the role:

The Inventory Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient management of all stock movements across online channels. You will handle daily inventory reconciliation, track inbound–outbound activities, investigate discrepancies, and support monthly closing. Working closely with Warehouse, Supply Chain, and E-commerce teams, you will help maintain data integrity, optimize stock levels, and enhance overall operational efficiency in a fast-paced E-commerce environment.

Job Responsibilities:​

A. Inventory Inbound – Outbound – Stock Management (NXT)

• Monitor, verify, and update daily inbound–outbound documents (POs, Goods Receipt Notes, Delivery Notes, Waybills).
• Reconcile actual inventory against data on E-commerce platforms (Shopee/Lazada/TikTok Shop…), OMS/WMS systems.
• Control inventory status: physical stock, system stock, empty-column stock, pending-order stock, cancelled stock.
• Check minimum–maximum levels and alert items at risk of OOS (out of stock).
• Track and record shrinkage, damaged goods, and inventory discrepancies according to company policies.
• Review POs with the Supply Chain team.

B. Control of Inventory Movement on E-commerce Platforms

• Monitor warehouse transfers, inbound, outbound, returns & refunds on E-commerce platforms.
• Reconcile FBL/FBLD/FBS (depending on platform) with suppliers or 3PL warehouses.
• Handle discrepancy claims regarding missing, excess, or lost items with platforms.

C. Inventory-related Accounting

• Record COGS, adjust inventory, and control costs related to inbound–outbound activities.
• Track data entry and store input invoices related to goods.
• Perform month-end reconciliation between Accounting – Warehouse – E-commerce platforms.

D. Stock-taking & Reporting

• Participate in periodic/adhoc stock counts and prepare discrepancy reports.
• Prepare inventory reports: stock on hand, inventory turnover, aging reports, damaged/defective goods reports.
• Propose initiatives to optimize inventory levels, reduce losses, and improve inventory turnover.

Requirements:​

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of experience in inventory accounting, warehouse accounting, or similar role.
• Experience working with E-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop) or OMS/WMS systems is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations related to inventory valuation and COGS.
• Strong understanding of inventory workflows: inbound, outbound, stock reconciliation, returns/refunds.
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to detect discrepancies, investigate root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Accounting, and E-commerce teams.
