AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Software Development:
  • Design and develop new internal or customer-facing software solutions and applications.
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and security of developed software and applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement user-friendly designs and improve application usability, layout, and accessibility.
• Web Development:
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and security of two existing company websites by managing databases, server-side scripts, and system updates
  • Assist in updating website content, improving UI/UX, and managing CMS platforms.
• Support:
  • Support IT Service Desk Team with 2nd line support.
• Common:
  • Daily, Weekly monitoring quality and performance of responsible websites and applications.
  • Plan future improvement and suggesting solutions to upgrade, maintain, develop, and optimize websites and applications
  • Maintain relevant website and application documentation
  • Other duties assigned by the Line Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• University or college degree in an IT-related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of practical experience in web/software development
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

• Technical Proficiency:
  • Solid foundation in one or more web development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Back-end development experience using PHP, [protected info], Python, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Joomla.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and basic integration principles.
  • Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI principles

• Website Maintenance & Tools:
  • Experience in managing hosting environments, domain configurations, and SSL certificates.
  • Ability to monitor site performance and resolve bugs or server issues.

• Tools & Platforms:
  • Basic version control knowledge (e.g., Git/GitHub).
  • Comfort working with tools like FTP, cPanel, or cloud-based services.
