The Assistant HR Manager will act as a key support to the HR Manager, overseeing daily HR operations and managing the HR team to ensure smooth workflows and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage HR functions, support strategic initiatives, and maintain a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

HR Team Supervision:

  • Supervise and guide the HR team, including Recruitment, C&B (Compensation & Benefits), and Admin departments, ensuring tasks are executed accurately and on time.
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress to meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
  • Provide regular feedback, guidance, and professional training to team members.

Recruitment and Onboarding/ Tuyển Dụng và Hội Nhập:

  • Collaborate with the Recruitment team to identify hiring needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in interviews for mid-level and senior positions.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company.

Compensation and Benefits (C&B)/ Chính Sách và Phúc Lợi (C&B):

  • Ensure accurate calculations and timely submission of tasks related to social insurance, payroll, personal income tax, service charges, etc.
  • Support the C&B team in resolving salary issues and addressing employee concerns.
  • Regularly update policies to align with legal regulations and market standards.

Compliance and Labor Law Updates/ Tuân Thủ và Cập Nhật Luật Lao Động:

  • Stay updated on Vietnamese labor laws and regulations, ensuring full compliance in HR operations.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
  • Handle labor disputes and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.

Policy Development and Implementation/ Phát Triển và Thực Thi Chính Sách:

  • Assist in the development and revision of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies across all departments.
  • Effectively communicate policy updates to employees.

HR Reporting and Analysis/ Báo Cáo và Phân Tích Nhân Sự:

  • Compile and analyze HR data to provide recommendations and proposals to senior management.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports for leadership review.
  • Support workforce planning and budget forecasting.

Employee Relations and Engagement/ Quan Hệ và Gắn Kết Nhân Viên:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate training programs to support career development and skills enhancement.

Strategic HR Support/ Hỗ Trợ Chiến Lược Nhân Sự:

  • Assist the HR Manager in planning and executing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to synchronize HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Support special HR projects as assigned by senior management.

What we NEED…:

  • At least 3 years of experience in HR, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role;
  • C&B experience is a must;
  • Excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities;
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR policies;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management software (HRIS);
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Experience in F&B and Hospitality industry is a plus
