This position is of Crowe Vietnam's Advisory Department in the Hanoi office, in charge of leading the Tax Team and is responsible for providing the following advisory jobs for clients.
Job Description:
- Assist managers in leading teams providing tax compliance, advisory, health checks, pre-audit reviews, and other support services to clients.
- Work directly with clients to ensure efficient tax service delivery.
- Prepare and review tax reports and tax returns including Personal Income Tax (PIT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and others, within specified deadlines.
- Delegate tasks to tax assistants, including coaching and providing clear guidelines.
- Research tax issues and draft and review tax-related advice in response to client inquiries via email or letter.
- Represent clients in interactions with tax authorities when necessary.
- Identify business opportunities through existing relationships and develop new contacts.
- Seek ways to improve service efficiency.
- Provide timely guidance, feedback, and mentorship to staff development."
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree, preferably with degrees in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or MBA
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in areas of tax compliance, tax advisory, accounting and auditing;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese;
- Strong understanding and interpretation of accounting and tax regulations;
- Strong analytical and communication skills;
- Proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks;
- Proficiency in MS office;
- Traveling within and out of the country, if required.
