Our client is a leading global retail company that is looking for a Business Finance Manager to join their Finance team.
Job Description
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and oversee financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions
- Monitor financial performance against targets and provide variance analysis
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management
- Strategic Financial Management:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
- Support strategic initiatives, including market expansion and new product launches
- Operational Finance:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial health
- Business Partnering:
- Work closely with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) to provide financial insights and support
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, offering financial guidance and strategic input
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, with a focus on the FMCG/ retail sector
- Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and use of financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
