Why We Need You

Data is the heartbeat of our company. As a Data & Insights Analyst, your work will directly influence our product-sourcing strategies for retailers and wholesalers and you can potentially grow into the brand-building data role. You’ll be at the forefront of collecting & transforming messy data into clear insights, ensuring that every decision we make is backed by accurate, timely information.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product List Processing (Retail/Wholesale Clients)
   • Work with large product lists (ranging from a few thousand to 50,000+ SKUs) provided by suppliers or clients.
   • Clean, format, and structure the data in Google Sheets/Excel, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
   • Set up columns and parameters so that software tools (via API) can automate further analysis (e.g., demand, profit margins).
2. Data Transformation & Dashboard Maintenance
   • Keep dashboards dynamic and up to date, ensuring the team has real-time data to make impactful decisions.
   • Collaborate with Account Managers, Reviewers and Purchasers to interpret processed data, helping them pinpoint profitable products or brand opportunities.
3. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
   • Work closely with team leads to manage workload and set priorities, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
   • Learn and refine advanced data processing methods, leveraging new tools and software.
   • Suggest improvements to existing processes—whether it’s refining data structures or optimizing software integrations.
4. Quality Control & Reporting
   • Double-check all data inputs and outputs for errors or inconsistencies.
   • Summarize findings in clear, concise reports or presentations, ensuring management has everything they need to make informed decisions.
5. Brand & Market Data Analysis (Potential future growth role)
   • Collect and organize extensive data (e.g., from Amazon or TikTok) on top-selling products, competitor pricing, flavors, reviews (positive & negative), and other key market indicators.
   • Identify patterns and trends that inform new brand strategies, such as product features, price points, and packaging ideas.
   • Present actionable insights to top management so they can decide on brand direction.

Technical Skills

• Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with data types, data entry, and import/export.
  • Hands-on experience with basic formulas (math, logic, text).
  • Skilled in sorting, filtering, and lookup functions.
  • Ability to create clean, structured templates for large datasets.
• Cloud Tools
  • Comfortable with Google Drive organization.
  • Able to handle multiple spreadsheets simultaneously, ensuring version control and data accuracy.
