Material Requirements Planning (MRP):

• Review planning and issue list of materials (part number, quantity, due date) that need to be ordered to purchasing team.
• Monitor and track material inventories, ensuring the correct quantities are available for production.
• Identify and resolve material shortages or excess stock.
• Review pull-in/push-out PR (purchase order request) after updating the monthly forecast

Order confirmation:

• Review material shortages with Purchasing, capacity availability

with Production to confirm & follow up on new Orders for Customer.

• Work on allocation RMs to prioritize/re-allocate RMs to Customer Order to meet expectations.
• Review FGs/RMs lead time to propose opportunities to improve lead time.
• Follow up Request/Confirmation date with CS to meet the OTIF/OTD.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an accurate inventory record in the system.
• Optimize stock levels to minimize waste while preventing shortages by reviewing safety stock.
• Review & follow up ECO/ Stock slow-moving with the related department.

Production Scheduling:

• Release Job/Work order to production on time.
• Assist in scheduling production to align with available materials and timelines.
• Ensure that materials are available to meet production deadlines and customer orders.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze material consumption data to predict future requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis for material discrepancies and shortages.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with the customer service, procurement, production, logistics Team to align material plans with the production needs & meet the OTIF/OTD.
• Communicate with the production department to understand material demands and resolve any issues that arise during production.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements in materials planning and inventory control

EDUCATION OR WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business or a related field is often required.
• Experience: Previous experience in materials planning, supply chain management or a similar role is preferred. Experienced in working with BOM (Bill of material) and manufacturing environments.
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese – spoken and written
• Good written and oral communication skills

WORKING TIME:

• From 7:30 AM to 03:30 PM (From Monday to Friday)
