About the Job

Join our team if you are:

• 1–3 years experienced in legal roles within banks, payments, or licensed financial institutions.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Interested in learning about the Fintech industry, e-commerce platforms, and cross-border payments.
• Skilled in handling legal issues, compliance procedures, and understanding relevant local and international regulations.
• Familiar with applicable laws and regulations on AML/CFT, data protection, privacy, and payment systems.
• Agile, adaptable, and solution-oriented when addressing challenges.

What You Need to Do

Understand Regulations:

• Stay updated with regulations on payment services
• Support Compliance Manager in advising management and internal stakeholders on compliance with MAS laws and other applicable international standards.

AML/CFT Responsibilities:

• Support the company’s Compliance Manager in handling escalations, analysis, and reporting according to applicable MAS laws and regulations on AML/CFT.

Risk Assessment and Audit:

• Support the company’s Compliance Manager in conducting regular and ad-hoc risk assessments on various compliance risk areas.
• Support the the company’s Internal Audit in auditing internal processes and documenting control weaknesses, including implementing strategies to mitigate risks.

Regulatory Affairs:

• Support the company’s Compliance Manager to manage regulatory interactions with MAS or other authorities, including filings, reporting, consultations, and inspections.

Global Collaboration:

• Collaborate with headquarters and overseas teams to ensure alignment with global compliance standards while meeting local legal requirement
