Our client is a top tier FDI company within its sector. They have several factories within the area, the majority of their products will be exported overseas.
Job Description
As a SC Planning Director, you will lead a big team to cover these following tasks:
- Develop strategies to utilise and implement the planning and inventory management of the factories within the region.
- Work with the global team to understand the company's sales forecasts and develop supply chain plans that can meet these forecasts.
- Develop a production plan that is aligned with the company business goals and strategies, base on the data from demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Minimise costs and supports the company profit. Find cost saving opportunities and develop supply chain plans that are efficient and cost-effective.
- Make sure inventory levels are aligned with the global team requirements to supports the customer service goals.
- Oversee potential risks to the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions, raw material shortages, and transportation delays.
- Update market trends, and inspect areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain a high performing team.
- Bachelor or Master's degree, prefer in Supply Chain Management.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with global supply chain teams. Proven track record of developing and executing successful supply chain plans.
- Experience with SAP/ ERP
