Job description:

We are looking for a network security engineer to join our IT team and help us protect our network infrastructure from cyber threats. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions that align with our business objectives and industry standards. You will also monitor, analyze, and respond to network security events and incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement.

As a network security engineer, you will need to have a strong background in network security, cyber-security, or IT security and network operation in the area's LAN, WLAN, WAN and cloud services.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.

3+ years of experience in network security, cyber-security, or IT security.

Familiarity with network protocols, standards, and architectures.

Knowledge of network security best practices, tools, and techniques.

Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience with network security systems a

Nd solutions (next-generation firewall configuration and management, VPN, IDS/IPS, DLP, TLS/SSL, RAS, NAC, PROXY and SIEM).

Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, MPLS, LAN HW, LAN Segmentation

Ability to analyze and interpret network traffic and logs.

Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

Ability to respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.

Ability to document and communicate security findings and recommendations.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH, or CISM are preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Willingness to travel and work outside of local business hours occasionally.

Team player with desire to learn.
