DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for supervising the information technology system of the Hotel including but not limited to the Servers, Smile software, Wifi, CCTV, cameras, Swich Core, PABX, TV sets/ system, IBS system, safety box, AV system, guest room door lock, computers,…

• Provides overall leadership in IT strategy, operations, cost optimization, innovation, and efficiency improvement.

• Responsible for the overall effectiveness and efficiency of IT systems and operations to ensure a high level of end user satisfaction.

• Ensure that IT operations are in accordance with established procedures and practices. Emphasis on documentation of IT procedures.

• Ensure that IT Platform operations are matched with business plan and requirement.

• Lead a team of IT and deliver various business critical and support systems to a range of users across the company on 24 hours

• Control and manage all revenue and capital expenditure and budgets, ensuring expenditure within the ICT function is appropriately managed, based on lean management principles, quality of service commitment and performance management.

• Ensure all hotel data is backed up periodically and back up discs / tapes are secured.

• Work closely with the Finance department on any special projects required to enhance the reporting requirements in the Hotel

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager from time to time.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good knowledge & management in Smile PMS, Micros POS, PBX, Back office and TV systems

• General understanding of Back Office modules and interfaces.

• Data Bases: Oracle, MS Access, SQL. o Network & Technical Skill: Novell Netware, MS Exchange, MS Office, Web Programming Tools, CITRIX Thin-client and Terminal Services architecture

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision, as well as having the ability to consider, evaluate and make sound business decisions regarding question as problem solving.

• Must be familiar with all hotels’ procedures, regulations.

* WORK EXPERIENCE:

- At least 2-year experience in the same position.

- Computer proficient

- Can speak in English (both verbal and written).
