Mô tả công việc
- Lead the translation of the Sales and Marketing strategy into business targets, budgets, and tangible plans to drive the achievement of company objectives.
- Take responsibility for budget preparation, monitoring and establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve the company objectives.
- Attract, retain customers while fostering highly professional relationships with decisions makers within customer's organizations to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Drive and manage the customer value proposition to secure growth and a profitable sales development, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Manage the development of overall standards, guidelines, and policies for Sales and Marketing, including pricing, services, promotion, advertising/PR and media. Drive the implementation of best practices within the department.
- Identify, develop, and oversee business opportunities locally and in the region, leveraging market insights and industry knowledge to capitalize on growth prospects.
- Analyse marketing programs and adjust strategies and tactics to enhance effectiveness and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
- Oversee the preparation of tariff and cost analyses, comparative studies/reports and customer contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Manage customer services activities to maintain high levels of satisfaction and trust from customers, promptly addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Resolve commercial issues promptly and provide support to the team as needed, ensuring efficient and effective problem-solving.
- Co-ordinate customer issues with relevant departments and serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Manage all logistics-related activities and strategies to maximize the value of port's contribution to customers and generate revenue and create additional value-added services.
- Manage government and external affairs activities to support internal stakeholders and maintain positive relationships with governmental offices and external stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor/coach commercial team members, overseeing all performance management activities and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Manage and maintain positive relationships with key accounts, local as well as international port users.
- Measure, display, and circulate commercial results, including forecasts and assessments of the competition environment periodically (monthly) to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all works, documents and information received during the course of work performance with due diligence and not to disclose any confidential information to any third-party for any purpose that is related to the company's business during and after the employment with SSIT.
- Ensure all activities under the Commercial department are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with the company HSSE guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Read, acknowledge understanding, stay updated on company's policies and regulations, setting a good example of compliance with all relevant guidelines, regulations, policies, and manuals.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the line manager from time to time.

Education:
- A bachelor's degree in business, transportation or related discipline is required to establish a foundational understanding of business principles crucial for managing sales/business development, marketing, customer service, logistics, and other activities in port operations.
- A relevant master's degree is considered advantageous.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of team/department leadership experience, preferably in the terminal or shipping industry or alternatively in a related industry. This extensive experience demonstrates a solid understanding of the operational nuances and specifics required in port operations which is critical for successful leadership in this field.
Technical Competency:
- Detailed understanding of the various links between other functional areas; the industry and macro-economic environment, and industry competition.
- Deep knowledge of port rules, regulations, and operations.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, particularly in marketing, business development, sales, and customer services.
- Ability to confidently engage with customers and various stakeholders at both local and global levels.
Core competency:
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, leadership, and management skills are essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; capable of interacting with customers diplomatically and assertively.
- Targeted, energetic, ambitious, possessing an international demeanour, and able to motivate others effectively.
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
- High adaptability to changes and deep understanding of the industry/business nature.

SSIT (SP-SSA International Terminal) là nhà khai thác cảng quốc tế. Đây là liên doanh giữa SSA, Hoa Kỳ và Vinalines, Cảng Sài Gòn, Việt Nam. Nó đã đi vào hoạt động từ tháng 8 năm 2014 tại Việt Nam. SSIT là một cơ sở nước sâu có mớn nước 16,5 m dọc theo bến. Cảng được trang bị cẩu bờ container lớn nhất Việt Nam. Năng lực xếp dỡ container của SSIT là khoảng 1,2 triệu TEU/năm. Hiện chúng tôi đang tìm kiếm những ứng viên có năng lực để lấp đầy chỗ trống. Cảng SSIT: Khu phố Phước Lộc, Phường Phước Hòa, Thị xã Phú Mỹ, Tỉnh Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu.
