Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for our smart devices used in payment and IoT applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-quality embedded solutions.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain low-level firmware for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M3/M4).
• Implement communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB.
• Design and integrate embedded systems for payment terminals, NFC devices, and IoT hardware.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and delivery validation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation: software architecture, developer guides, user manuals.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to optimize system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development for microcontrollers.
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of MCU/MPU architectures and peripheral interfaces.
• Familiar with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), preferably FreeRTOS.
• Experienced with debugging tools and unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test, Unity, CppUTest).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NFC/RFID protocols and secure communication standards.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and secure coding practices.
• English proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
• Exposure to product-based development (not limited to automotive or chip design).
