The Opportunity

The Barbaros Hanoi Restaurant team at Barbaros Group is seeking for a passionate Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work under the guidance of an international chef specializing in slow cooking and smoking techniques.

Role Overview

As the Kitchen Helper, you will directly report to the Kitchen Manager, while working with the rest of Barbaros Hanoi restaurant staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Support the chef in cooking tasks, including chopping, marinating, and pre-cooking.
• Follow health and safety guidelines meticulously to ensure a safe kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum Chef de Partie or higher level in a professional kitchen.
• Passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn new techniques.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety protocols.
• Team player with excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English (conversational)
