The Opportunity
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Technical Lead to join our team in partnership with a leading global communications company. In this hands-on role, you will lead the development and deployment of the OSS/BSS platforms, driving technical excellence across projects. You will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions that power global voice and data networks, while enhancing engineering practices and mentoring your team. This role includes contributing to after-hours support on a rotating schedule for production-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will lead the development and deployment of the OSS/BSS platforms, driving technical excellence across projects. You will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions that power global voice and data networks, while enhancing engineering practices and mentoring your team. This role includes contributing to after-hours support on a rotating schedule for production-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development and deployment of OSS/BSS platforms, ensuring stable, secure, and well-architected solutions.
- Improve and mentor engineering practices and agile processes.
- Drive technical decisions and solutions for projects, aligning with our target state.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact technical initiatives.
- Participate in after-hours support on a rotating schedule for critical platforms.
- 10+ years of Java experience.
- Experience with large-scale applications (Spring, Hibernate) and message brokers (ActiveMQ, Kafka).
- Experience leading technical initiatives in complex environments.
- Expertise in AWS/cloud technologies, CI/CD, automation, and relational databases.
- Strong skills in developing and deploying secure, reliable software solutions.
- Desirable: Experience with ReactJS, Golang, and Terraform.
- Strong English communication.
