What We Do – Accountabilities

• Lead the shoe finishing development across Caleres brands
• Manage Caleres Finishing SOP creation
• Assist the finishing process during production
• Lead the finishing training with shoe factories and ensure to manage the finishing issues according to Caleres escalation process
• Lead the color dips developments with suppliers and manage the color dips approvals with USA design team
• Work and manage the finishing chemical suppliers
• Explore new chemical alternatives and chemical suppliers with the innovation initiatives

Essential Functions

• Communicate with PD/Leather Tech team for new finishing creation, manage the SOP in the system and share with relative shoe factories
• Lead the communication with desing team for color dips creation, maintain the updates in the DMM system and manage the process/approvals with suppliers
• Assist the shoe factories with production finishing, provinding proper finishing process SOP and finishg and SOP reading/training to shoe factories and Caleres POM

Preferred Qualifications & Education

• Above 10 years working with shoe finishing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English (oral/written) Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong partnering, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to travel across Asia Pacific. Ex.: (Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Etc.)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
