Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Design and manage budgeting and forecasting models to
support strategic business decisions, covering cash flow,
capital expenditure, P&L and balance sheet projections.
• Align with Group Controller to standardize reporting
structure.
• Analyze company performance by comparing budgeted
and actual results, identifying key variances and trends.
• Manage financial reports and dashboards for senior
management.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess
financial risks.
2. Cost Management & Control
• Manage product costing, including activity-based costing
(standard and actual), and manage month-end closing
tasks such as template allocation, work-in-progress
accounting, variance calculations, and purchase order
settlements.
• Monitor and analyze cost structures, collaborate with
production teams to assess cost drivers and recommend
optimization measures, support the implementation of cost
reduction strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure stock movement compliance with regulatory
standards, internal policies, and industry best practices for
inventory tracking and reporting.
3. Management Reporting
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L
analysis, cost analysis, variance analysis against budget
and forecasts.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to
management, groups and relevant stakeholders. Develop
KPIs to measure and track business performance.
4. Operational & Process Improvement
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance
efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and
analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve
financial and operational processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial
policies and procedures.
• Manage transfer prices between companies in Vietnam in
compliance with regulations while optimizing tax
efficiencies.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and
company policies. Assist with internal and external audits
by providing required financial data.
• Support the implementation of internal controls to
safeguard company assets.
6. Others
• Manage the company's insurance policies and oversee
claim procedures.
• Cash flow and FX planning.
• Manage bank covenants.Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CMA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industry is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.
• Proficient in English.
