DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Review the operation of the engineering department to ensure that staff is available and able to deliver the quality and service required achieving customer and colleague satisfaction.
2. Identify training needs and ensure departmental training plans are implemented and developed in accordance with company standards.
3. Reward superior performance to ensure subordinates are motivated and empowered to make spontaneous decisions.
4. Encourage and develop individual creativity and skills of all department staff through regular meetings and individual counseling sessions to ensure the succession plans are implemented.
5. Ensure departmental and interdepartmental communications are maintained in order that guest and colleague's requests are met.
6. Ensure the engineering department staff is familiar with the in-house life safety equipment, emergency procedures and layout of the building in the event of an emergency.
7. Ensure Company's appraisal system for monitoring staff performance and development by providing direction and feedback to staff in adhering to service procedure.
8. Encourage staff suggestion program and other effective methods of two-way communication management by participation.
9. Participate in fire and emergency procedure training (including Manuel lift winding) and any other courses that may arise to ensure the guests and colleagues safety and satisfaction is maintained at all times.
10. Ensure through effective planning and organizing of systems and procedures, productivity, efficiency and consistent, high level of service is achieved.
11. Ensure through quality control checklists, constantly training staff, monitoring guest and colleague feedback, attention to detail an outstanding service is provided.
12. Through continuously searching for new ideas and product improvements guests and colleagues demands are met.
13. Ensure through continuously physically checking all areas within the Hotel and all aspects of the Engineering services and implementation of standard procedures the highest standard of maintenance is achieved.
14. Ensure, through constant communications with other managers and H.O.Ds that maintenance reporting procedures and systems meet with their expectations.
15. Ensure that the Continuous Service Improvement Program is implemented as a tool for generating ideas for Continuous Service Improvement in the engineering department.
16. Meet with the Managers on daily basis to ensure the continuity in the operation of the engineering department is maintained at all times.
17. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, reviewing improvements in standards, goals, manpower and operational costs.
18. Monitor and control the engineering expenses without reducing quality of service, or impacting on our guest's satisfaction in any way.
19. Continually analyze on an ongoing bases, departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.
20. Assess any suggestions or ideas put forward by the Hotel's staff to reduce wastage of resources.
21. Constantly strive to reduce utility costs for the Hotel without reducing quality of service or impacting on our guest's satisfaction in any way.
22. Constantly review the department performance and operations to stimulate ideas for reducing the Department's and Hotel's costs.
23. Monitor and update the "staff awareness" notice board showing the Hotel's progress on reducing costs, savings on utility costs and wastage of resources.
24. Plan, prepare and present the Engineering Departments annual budget.
25. Ensure Hotel's fire, health and safety procedures are implemented.
26. Encourage the highest possible standard of environmental management.
27. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as required by management.
28. Carry out the function of manager on duty.
29. Ensure the day to day operation of the departments office duties and general administration is completed competently and in a given time.
30. Attend and report to management any actions or action plans that may arise from inspections by the local authorities.
31. Perform the duties of a member of the Hotel's fire fighting team.
32. Uphold the Hotel's security instructions and regulations in accordance with Hotel and Company policy and procedures.
33. Ensure that the Engineering Departments and Hotel policy and Procedures are followed at all times.
34. Executive any other duties assigned by Management.

Yêu cầu công việc
1. At least 5 years’ experience as Assistant Chief Engineer in scalable four or five star hotels/ resorts.
2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction/ engineering or related discipline.
3. Proven record of successful experience in management, budgeting, goal setting and achieving, all aspects of the building services.
4. Ability to demonstrate, motivational, leadership skills, problem solving, planning and organizing, decision making, prioritizing, delegating training and developing and producing results.
5. Excellent command of English.

Lĩnh vực sản xuất: Thiết bị giáo dục và đồ dùng văn phòng phẩm, tổng cộng hơn 40 mã sản phẩm, quy mô nhà mày 1000- 1500 người. Trong tương lai nhà máy sản xuất văn phòng phẩm Deli Việt Nam sẽ trở thành nhà máy sản xuất văn phòng phẩm lớn nhất Việt Nam.
