A Lean Officer is responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and methodologies across manufacturing and operational processes. The role involves analyzing workflows, identifying waste, and driving efficiency improvements to optimize production, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Process Improvement:
• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Provide expertise in implementing Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, TPM, etc.).
• A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to adopt new methodologies and technologies.
• Develop visual management tools for production.
2. Waste Reduction:
• Identify and eliminate various forms of waste (such as overproduction, waiting times, defects, etc.) within production and business processes.
• Use Lean tools to measure and improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Use data-driven techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, process control charts) to track and measure process performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular reports on improvements and cost savings.
4. Collaboration & Training:
• Collaborate with various teams (e.g., production, quality, QA, and others) to drive Lean initiatives across departments.
• Train and mentor everyone on Lean principles and practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.• From 1+ years of experience in a Lean, manufacturing environment, or process improvement role.
• Experience with Lean tools such as Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Layout and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD (layouts), Corel, Photoshop.
• Decent communication skills in English and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Critical thinking & Logical thinking.
• Ability to train and mentor others in Lean methodologies.
• Lean certification from recognized institutions is a plus.Thưởng
