DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
1. To set tables, trays according to type of food ordered and the hotels service standards.
2. To perform opening and closing procedures established for the department.
3. To accurately record, pre-check and pick up all food and beverage orders.
4. To check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
5. Responsible for cleaning and removing the trolleys/trays from guest rooms and corridor.
6. To serve guests their food and beverage in prompt, courteous manner as per the standard sequence of service.
7. To present a physical and accurate bill to guests and complete the payment process.
8. To be able to immediately monitor guest comments and pass on to the Superior, and be pro- active in solving problems whenever possible.
9. To report guest complaints immediately to the supervisors and ensure follow up is performed with the guest.
10. To complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
11. To maintain cleanliness of work areas, chinaware, glassware, etc., throughout the day.
12. To report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor.
13. To assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.
14. To ensure a minimum wastage and breakage.
15. To ensure effective communication between Kitchen, Order taker and service team members.
16. To monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully.
17. To ensure a very good relationship between the Operations floor, the Kitchen & Front of the House.
18. To assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.
19. To perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by the Supervisor or Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. One to two years’ experience in a similar role in upscale hotels
2. Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or in a related field.
3. Good command of English and Vietnamese, especially oral English
4. Ability to speak a third language as an advantage.
5. Good teamwork, complaint resolution skills.
6. Good knowledgeable of a Point of Sale system, other order taking systems or hand held devices, inventory software etc.
7. Passion for service excellence.
8. Warmth and graciousness with the ability to function in a busy environment and create stellar guest experiences and flexible availability to work various shifts and weekends.

2013, tôi và vài người bạn mở một công ty cafe giữa đỉnh điểm của thực phẩm bẩn và hóa chất. Chúng tôi chọn cafe sạch nguyên chất, đi ngược lại với tất cả, với mong muốn thay đổi thứ thức uống quen thuộc hằng ngày của hàng triệu người. Công ty tồn tại chớp nhoáng sau đó nhanh chóng sụp đổ. Mọi người đi hết để lại tôi với thất bại vốn được dự báo từ trước.
2015, tôi quay lại mở quán Gờ đầu tiên tại đường Cao Đạt. Đây là giai đoạn mạng xã hội phát triển vượt kiểm soát, việc hòa nhập với thế giới rất nhanh chóng và chính xác. Các quán cafe cùng mọc dần lên, không gian lộng lẫy, nước uống trendy thức thời - capuccino thay cho cafe sữa, arabica thay cho robusta mạnh mẽ rất Việt. Chúng ta đều đã trải qua một thời gian loay hoay xa lạ để thích nghi với những điều được du nhập về như thế.
