The Academic Department plays a pivotal role in achieving this mission by offering teachers professional development, providing information and resources, and fostering a professional learning community for K- 12 teachers and school leaders.
As an Academic Support Specialist at EQuest Group, you will be an integral part of the Academic Department, contributing to the growth and success of our K- 12 schools. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative fast- paced environment, possesses a strong background in education (preferably K- 12), and is dedicated to making a positive social and educational impact at a large scale. The responsibilities are detailed, and not limited to, as below:
Key Responsibilities
Teacher Professional Development
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the ongoing accreditation process (site check using the accreditation tools, etc.).
Research best practices and resources to provide thoughtful, well- planned, student- centered consultation for schools.
Coordinate high- quality instructional services for teachers and leaders (e.g., webinars, coaching, etc.)
Information and Resource Management
Curate and disseminate educational resources on the team’s webpage and social media to support K- 12 teachers and school leaders.
Conduct preliminary research on accreditation organizations and services, standardized testing, and accreditation framework and tools.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and research in ESL/EFL, STEAM, and psychology.
Professional Learning Community Building
Organize events (e.g., conferences, workshops, Open Days, festivals, summits, etc.) to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a vibrant K- 12 professional learning community.
Demonstrate creativity and innovation in designing engaging and informative academic events within the budget.
Foster collaboration and knowledge- sharing among K- 12 teachers and school leaders through various activities.

Qualifications:
At least a master&39;s degree in STEAM, ESL/EFL, or psychology. Required
2 years experience in customer service, sales, and/or planning and organizing academic events (e.g., conferences, summits, festivals, etc.). Preferred
8 years’ experience working within a diverse K- 12 educational environment. Required
5 years’ experience training in curriculum design, and teaching in online learning management systems (such as Blackboard, Canvas, etc.). Preferred

Ability to adapt to a fast- paced working environment and thrive under pressure.
Possessing a strong work ethic and a willingness to go above and beyond to complete tasks by deadlines.
Addressing teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders’ inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy and professionalism.
Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
Experience in providing detail- oriented support, such as editing or publication- related skills.
Ability to work independently, and to collaborate in teams.
Proactively seeking feedback to continuously improve academic support services.
Having excellent organizational, communication, and problem- solving skills.
