About The Team

The Marketing by GFG, was launched in 2020 to accelerate brands’ growth and exposure efficiently. Our vision is to be the most efficient media solution for brands to invest and grow their business across our regions. The product helped the brands to drive more sales faster with a reduced cost. MbG is not aimed to support the brands only, it's also a great tool for marketplace Sellers to improve the listings visibility and afford an important margin.

About The Role

In this role as Senior Software Engineer you will be working closely with other people in the teams to provide architectural vision and strategy for GFG’s internal tools suite, and you will have the capability to provide detailed technical guidance to the team, enabling them to execute more effectively and deliver products on time. You will also investigate the latest technologies to improve site reliability, the developer experience and raw performance.

What Will You Do

Work in an agile environment to develop a best-in-market experience
Write and maintain clean and well-tested code
Work on distributed systems at scale with high traffic workloads
Collaborate with other software engineers and stakeholders in your team to build and maintain APIs in our microservices architecture (Kubernetes)
Lead the development of new features, delivering to our standard, on time
Mentor and provide material feedback to junior team members

What Will You Bring To The Team

BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
6+ years of experience with high-traffic distributed systems and client-server architectures
Proficiency in full-stack web development including Javascript, Typescript, Python, Golang, React is a plus
Good understanding of AWS (our stack is fully deployed on AWS)
Experience building web apps, PWAs and their accompanying APIs
Experience designing and building APIs
Experience with distributed systems and client-server architectures
A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competency in data structures, algorithms, software design and deep understanding of software design patterns

Lịch sử thành lập

Trong năm 2011 và 2012, các công ty khu vực của GFG bắt đầu hoạt động với mô hình kinh doanh bán hàng tồn kho cho khách hàng từ chính kho hàng của mình.
Từ năm 2013, các công ty trong khu vực GFG bắt đầu tạo nhãn hiệu riêng của họ , chẳng hạn như Lost Ink và ZALORA (trước đây là Ezra).
Global Fashion Group (GFG) được thành lập vào năm 2014 thông qua việc hợp nhất các công ty thời trang thương mại điện tử trong khu vực được hỗ trợ bởi Kinnevik và Rocket Internet . Các công ty khu vực của nó Dafiti, lamoda, THE ICONIC , ZALORA và Jabong
