* Job description

Your primary objective is to ensure the smooth + compliant delivery of all customs related activities in your geographical location. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key tasks.

* Your tasks and responsibilities
• To monitor day-to-day performance of customs-related suppliers, identifying + addressing issues.
• To update customers daily on status updates while also providing solutions to queries raised by customs officers.
• To answer customer’s enquiries relating to customs procedures, tariff classifications + duty rates.
• To create standard operating procedures, identify business risks + provide training.
• To conduct regular audits + quality control checks on customs documentation.
• To keep abreast of latest customs laws + regulations, ensuring the organization adapts to these changes effectively while adhering to ethical + legal standards.
• To attend to customs examinations + ensure relevant certifications are valid.
• To arrange product re-classification with customs ruling department.
