The Junior Accountant is responsible for data collection, checking and recording to ensure accuracy and compliant with current accounting and tax regulations and company policies.
Support the team to deliver the required reports in both term of time and quality.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1.1. Receipts and receivables
- Prepare cash receipts, cash counting with cashier, maintain cash book
- Perform periodic cash count and prepare cash count minute with cashier/CA
- Co-operate with Admission/Registrar Team to perform cash in reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliation on regular basis
- Monitor customer card payments and reconcile to Payoo reports
- Maintain GL of receivables and follow up on collection
- Check invoices issued by Admission/Registrar Team to make sure the accuracy of amount and invoice information.
- Raise invoice amendment request or consolidate the request from Admission/Registrar Team to GA for any amendment.
- Prepare list of monthly output invoices for tax purposes
1.2. Payment and payables
- Checking payment request and supporting documents to ensure validity and accuracy of the amount.
- Prepare and submit payment list for GA review
- Prepare list of monthly input invoices for tax purposes
- Prepare cash payment voucher and maintain cash book
- Maintain GL of payables, reconcile of payables with suppliers on timely basis
- Maintain GL of advance, reconcile and monitor staff advance
1.3. Documentary and Filing
- Prepare and maintain hard copies of accounting vouchers, records, books.
- In charge of filling accounting vouchers, contracts and any accounting documents in proper folders.
1.4. Reporting
- Support some tasks relating to tax reporting and general accounting;
- Support on weekly/monthly reconciliation including:
- Assist the team in account reconciliation process on weekly/monthly basis
- Conduct authorized account reconciliation process
- Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly
- Providing information at request for weekly/monthly financial and management reports.
- Perform other tasks and prepare report of tasks assigned by superiors;
1.5. Other tasks
- Support other team in regarding to accounting related tasks such as tuition collection, invoice, payment request, etc…
- Explore and understand well on all related software such as CRM, SKYLINK., etc
- Other ad-hoc requests by manager
REQUIREMENTS
1. Finance, tax knowledge, skills and network: strong knowledge of Vietnamese and international finance and tax knowledge with at least 02 years of work experience.
2. Education: University graduate in Accountancy or Business Finance.
3. 40 hours per week.
4. Saturday duty when assigned.
