The world is constantly changing, and sometimes, its progress comes into conflict with people’s traditional practices and customs. While some argue that all of these deserve to be kept, I am against this view, because many practices are neither relevant nor applicable to modern life. They, therefore, need not be preserved.

The idea of clinging on to established norms no matter what sounds reasonable to an extent. This is firstly based on the belief that customs and traditional ways of life have been refined by many generations’ worth of experience. As a result, they virtually act as a guideline for people to uphold society. The Japanese language’s wide range of honorifics, for example, has been a part of what makes the Japanese a polite and considerate people. In addition, traditional customs provide solidarity for people in the fast-paced modern world. Many cultures still display their heritage and roots today in rituals such as weddings and funerals, attracting many participants thanks to the sense of connection provided.

Nevertheless, many ways of behavior are hardly relevant to modern life. Certain practices possess an unhealthy amount of risk, such as the consuming of flesh of deceased relatives in some tribes, or inbreeding in some cultures. The former is simply unsanitary and allows pathogens to thrive, while the latter results in degenerate genetic quality and various mental illnesses. Furthermore, some customs should cease to exist entirely due to their barbarism. One of such practices is honor killing, which involves a family elder killing another family member, usually a female, for tarnishing the family’s name. Taking these points into consideration, it could be argued that not all norms are equally deserving of preservation.

In conclusion, while there are reasons to believe in maintaining them, the customs and traditional ways of life that are unsuitable for modern life are best abolished or left forgotten. Still, it is important to determine which ones are beneficial and which ones are not.

Nowadays, most of the customs and traditional behaviors which associated with the past can not be usefull in the modern life and keeping them can be worthless. In my opinion, I strongly agree that eliminating much traditional behaviors is a good idea due to time-saving and increasing the rate of quality in doing different activities.

firstly, leaving many customs and traditional ways of behaviours from the past can be a key step to save a lot of time. because in the past, Many people had to travel long distances on foot or by horse to reach another city. that is why, they are really time-taking for them in order to arrive the location. so, on some occasions, they can not arrive on time. therefore they lose that opportunity to do their tasks. so, this strategy was really boring for the individuals. but these days many people can benefit from different kinds of vehicle in order to travel other cities in the best possible form without any tiring and spending lots of time. that is why, they can do their task on time

secondly, doing a great number of customs and traditional ways of behaviors related to the past can not be a good idea. because it causes reduced the rate of quality in doing activities. in the past, many individuals wash their clothes by hand. this way, they do not have  enough power to clean them. That is why, they have to  use a large amount of water to clean the cloth very well .that is why, vast amount of water for cleaning is not logical. but nowadays, thanks to  technology, many people can use different smart tools, like washing machines to clean their clothes with a little water and the best quality.

in conclusion, breaking old customs and traditional ways of behavior can not be a good idea because it can provide many problems, such as spending a lot of time and decreasing the rate of quality in their tasks.

Nowadays, some individuals argue that ancient behaviours and customs are not applicable to society and should be abandoned. I disagree with this statement and believe that the traditional rules deserve to be kept to protect us from the negative impact of globalization. This essay will discuss more about the reason why I choose to disagree with this statement.

To begin with, the traditional rules are an essential part of our cultural identity and it helps us to identify ourselves and protect us from negative habits. Globalization increases negative behaviours and leads individuals to become someone who lacks manners because of a crisis of identity. For instance, many young people are not polite towards other people, especially old people because globalization impacts them to be individualistic and free from the rules of life.

Another reason for ancient customs and behavior is to perpetuate the history of humans. In the past, there were a lot of histories that can be used as a lesson for us in the future and it is a priceless treasure in the history of humans. For instance, Muslims always celebrate Eid Al-Adha to remind them of the Prophet Ibrahim’s sacrifice for his children and also remind them to always share with each other, especially with individuals who are poor or disadvantaged.

In conclusion, there are claims from many individuals that ancient rules are not relevant in the modern era. However, i believe that the traditional behaviours and customs are still relevant and applicable in life to keep and identify our identity and also preserve the history of humans.

There is an ongoing debate about whether customs and traditional ways of behaviour are still relevant in today's modern life. Although some argue that many customs are outdated and no longer serve a purpose, others believe that these traditions are an essential part of our culture and should be preserved. In my opinion, I agree with the latter group and believe that many customs and traditional ways of behaviour are worth keeping.

Firstly, customs are an essential part of our cultural identity. They help us understand where we came from, and they provide us with a sense of belonging. Our traditions are what make us unique, and they connect us to our heritage. For example, the celebration of festivals and ceremonies is a tradition deeply ingrained in many cultures. These events bring people together and provide a platform to exchange ideas and share cultural experiences. As a result, traditional ways of behaviour are essential in promoting cultural diversity and social cohesion.

Secondly, many customs and traditional ways of behaviour have practical benefits that are still relevant today. For instance, the practice of eating together as a family is a tradition that has been passed down through generations.p, and it has been shown to have many benefits, including improved communication and stronger family relationships. Similarly, many customs and traditional ways of behaviours that promote respect, honesty, and integrity are still essential in modern life. These values are universally recognized as positive, and they help to foster strong communities and relationships.

In conclusion, even though some argue that customs and traditional ways of behaviour are outdated and no longer relevant, I believe that they are an essential part of our culture and should be preserved.

Traditions and standards of behaviour have long been integral parts of society, serving as a defining aspect of different nationalities and tribes. Today, there is a rising concern about the significance of those inheritances in modern society. I believe certain traditions should be preserved, while other customs, causing unnecessary burdens, should be eliminated from modern life.

Some traditional and moral standards play a crucial role in preserving the identity of a nation and serving a good purpose. For example, respect for older people exists in many societies and forms a basis for good social relationships. Another simple example is how people perform a handshake when they meet, which shows the level of politeness and respect for another person. Such gestures and behaviour standards should persist in society because they generally benefit humanity.

However, certain traditions are not worth spending time or money on and do more harm than good. For example, one of the most burdensome customs in the world is Uzbek weddings, which are generally known for a large number of guests invited and overly expensive restaurants where they are held. Uzbeks work almost their entire lifetime to accumulate enough money to organize such weddings for their sons and daughters. These traditions bear little benefit for people, and the amount of time and dedication wasted on them could be spent on more valuable activities.

In a nutshell, every nation has custom social norms and traditions which form its identity. But there are also plenty of practices which only exist for demonstrative purposes of power and wealth, which, I believe, do not have a place in contemporary society.

Some people argue that many traditional customs and behaviours have been updated in the modern world and should be abandoned. However, I completely disagree with this point of view and believe those traditional customs deserve to be kept.

The main reason why most traditional customs are worth keeping is that they are still useful in the modern world. While some traditional customs including unconditionally following policies made by the king have been replaced by the democratic political system, there are still quite some traditional customs that adapt well to modern society. For example, people in east asian countries are still used to shaking hands when they meet new friends or business partners, which has been followed for more than 1000 years and is still a great way to help quickly establish friendship or business cooperation. Consequently, those kinds of traditional customs should be kept.

Another important reason for keeping certain traditional customs and behaviours is that they are essential records of human history. For instance, in the Western world, people celebrate Christmas and in many countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia such as China and Vietnam, people celebrate Lunar New Year, which gathers family members together and reminds people of the history of their ancestors. These traditional customs have built a bridge between modern civilization and ancient history, which is a priceless treasure in human beings’ history. Therefore, it is important to preserve some traditional customs.

In conclusion, although some outdated traditional customs deserve to be abandoned in the modern world, I firmly believe that some traditional customs are vital parts of human history and are still applicable in modern society and thus should be kept.
