The use of plastic containers has become more and more common over the last few decades, particularly in the food and beverage industry. Personally, I think that the drawbacks of plastic use far outweigh any benefits it may bring.
The two main advantages of plastic packaging are the cost and convenience. Single-use plastic packaging, such as cups and containers used in the food and beverage industry, are generally very cheap to manufacture, and this helps to keep the cost of take-away products affordable for consumers. Single-use plastic packaging is also very convenient. These days, most people often have very busy schedules and are always on the go, and quite often need to buy take-away food and drinks. Plastic containers allow people to maintain their busy lives and demanding schedules while generally being able to eat and drink what they please.
However, the costs and conveniences of single-use plastic packaging are far outweighed by the long-term destruction it causes to the environment and to people’s health. Nowadays, many countries around the world are facing a plastic pollution crisis, with oceans, rivers, and landfills full of unrecyclable plastic waste which takes hundreds and thousands of years to break down. Meanwhile, millions of aquatic animals are dying every year from ingesting plastic waste floating in the planet’s waterways, while millions of people around the world are suffering the health effects of breathing in toxic fumes from the burning of plastic waste.
In conclusion, the effect that plastic packaging is having on the planet is devastating, and unnecessary. For a tiny extra cost, businesses could move to using packaging made from recyclable or biodegradable materials. Furthermore, individuals can start to make a habit of carrying their own reusable containers, such as reusable coffee cups.

In this day, the use of plastic materials in the industry has grown rapidly, especially in the meals industry. This has caused debates whether the use of plastic containers will give more advantages or disadvantages. Using plastic containers will lead to environmental issues as well as some serious health issues. However, plastic containers are very practical and safe to use for carrying food and they have a cheaper cost than other materials. Despite this, I believe the drawbacks outweigh the benefits.
One of the potential benefits of using plastic containers is that it will be more practical and safe for us to carrying meals. Plastic containers usually have a safe cover so it will reduce the risk of spills or damage when the meals are being carried. Furthermore, using plastic containers can help companies to maintain the production costs because plastic materials is way more cheap than other materials like metal, glass, or alumunium foils.
Despite the advantages, the drawbacks when using plastic materials can give more concerns especially for the environment. As we know that plastic materials will be difficult to decompose in the environment, it will lead to main issues for the environment causing by the waste of the plastic, furthermore it also can be dangerous for the marine animal ecosystem. Moreover, the use of plastic for storing food can be dangerous for our bodies especially when the plastic is exposed with the heat of the meal. This can cause some serious health problems such as cancer and other long-term health problems effects.
In conclusion, while the beneficial of using plastic containers can be more practical and safe for carrying food and also will give a cost-effectiveness for the companies, the drawbacks of using plastic containers will give a lot of dangerous problems especially for the environment and can causing some serious health problems.

Plastic containers have become ubiquitous in many industries, with food and beverage companies heavily depending on them. While there are drawbacks to this, they are outweighed by the benefits.
One problem regarding plastic use in food and drink industries is that it contributed to environmental pollution. This is because the majority of the plastic containers are not recycled and end up in landfills or find their way to oceans, harming wildlife and ecosystems. Plastic is also non-biodegradable, taking hundreds of years to decompose, which makes it a long-term environmental hazard. Health concerns associated with plastic use are another drawback. Certain plastic can release harmful chemicals, which may affect food and beverages. While the likelihood of this happening is low, it remains a major cause for concern for the public.
These downsides notwithstanding , the upsides plastic containers offer are far more significant. One of the major advantages of such containers is that they extend shelf life of products. Some plastics are designed in a way that the food or drink contained is protected from oxygen, light, and other external factors, which helps maintain the product’s freshness for a long time. Airtight plastic bags are a pertinent example. Any edible product, whether freshly picked produce or meat, can be preserved in such bags for much longer than in regular containers. Equally important is the durability of plastic containers. As plastic containers are resistant to breaking, using them ensures that food and drinks remain intact during shipping and handling. This admirable quality of plastic containers has transformed the food industry in recent decades by reducing waste and improving cost efficiency.
In conclusion, using plastic containers entails several disadvantages, such as environmental damage and health issues; however, these are not as significant as the advantages, which include plastic’s ability to keep products fresh and its resistance to breaking.

Nowadays, plastic containers are widely used by food and drink companies all around the world. I personally believe that the negative points of using plastic are more than the advantages of that.
To begin with, certainly one of the advantages of using plastic containers might be the expenses of them. Simply put, plastics and the process of producing them are often cheaper than other products. For instance, some food and drink companies have mentioned that while the utilization of plastic containers might pose significant costs, in comparison to other materials, it is often a more cost-effective option. Moreover, another factor which is considerable is the weight of the plastic containers. Plastics are usually lighter than other materials like glasses, so companies find it easier to transport their products.
On the other hand, the drawbacks of the increases in usage of plastics are by no means negligible, the prime concern is the difficult process of recycling plastics. Although, various types of plastics are recyclable , the procedure Is often expensive and not available for all kinds of them. A good illustration might be that due to those problems, recycling companies would rather manage waste disposal instead of recycling them. In addition, another issue that might occur is health concerns because of the danger of chemical release. Some certain chemicals are present in plastic. If the food or drink are exposed to heat, it might lead to food or drink poison.
To sum up, I take the view that the downsides of using plastics are more than its upsides, due to the recycling difficulties and some potential health problems.

Nowadays, containers made of plastic are becoming ubiquitous items in mass production and are being used by many food and drink companies. Although there are numerous benefits to using plastic receptacles for daily usage, their drawbacks can exceed them in the long run.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why plastic containers play a significant role in our lives. First of all, they are remarkably cheap and very handy to use. Due to the fact that everyone can afford to utilize it and because of its basic design, even children might not encounter any problems with using these vessels. Besides, they help keep foods fresh without any detrimental effects. For this reason, these could be a huge contribution to our overall wellness.
On the other hand, the downsides of this process can outweigh the advantages in the end. The first and foremost motive is that these plastic containers have a notably damaging influence on our environment and nature because they don't decay for up to 500 years.Owing to the fact that we can unknowingly jeopardize the world around us. In addition, if we continue tossing them into seas and oceans, those receptacles can menace fish and other creatures. The leading reason why we should protect fish is that they account for 45% of the overall consumption of humans. Because of that, we need to avoid these bad outcomes.
In conclusion, despite the fact that plastic containers are highly economical, affordable, and easy to use, they damage the environment and have an extremely detrimental influence on water creatures.

Nowadays, around the globe, the usage of plastic is getting increased day by day. Many companies around the world are using plastic for storing and transporting their products. Although many are against it, I firmly opine that the merit of companies using plastic containers clearly outweighs its demerits. In the below essay, I will discuss both the views with examples.
On the other hand, those who argue against it suggest that it creates environmental pollution. After usage, consumers throw away these containers, which are later eaten by stray and wildlife animals. Plastics also take a large amount of time to decompose, which causes a pile of garbage. However, the root cause of this issue is consumer themselves. After consumption, customers should be made aware of the proper usage of plastics. Companies are promoting a campaign to promote such awareness. For example, Coca-cola has urged its customer to return their cans to shops, and eventually, the consumer will get some rewards. Hence, companies are using a different medium to inform the customer regarding proper handling of plastics, which is the leading cause of environmental pollution.
On the other hand, The usage of plastic containers is highly economical for beverages companies. In other words, plastics have less weight as compared to other packaging materials. Hence it lowers the final product costs. Reduction in transportation cost is also feasible as these containers take less space, which aids in transporting a larger number of final goods in the domestic market, as well as benefitting the organisation in increasing its export profit margin. In addition, plastic containers also aid in providing final products to customer in varied size and shapes. It is beneficial for the consumer to choose material as per their packaging requirement.
In conclusion, for companies plastics containers are highly economical, though they damage the environment, companies are making their customer self-aware regarding the handling of these plastics. Thus, the merits of the usage of plastics by companies clearly outweigh the disadvantages.
