Description

This position is a support role located in region to help manage eero’s Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) suppliers. You will be supporting multiple manufacturers and local component suppliers to ensure there are no disruptions to the supply chain. You will be a local extension of the eero Supply Chain management team located in the United States.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Can

• Review monthly Factory Production Schedule (FPS) and ensure demand is loaded by the EMS and component Purchase Orders (PO’s) are placed in a timely manner.
• Identify component shortages and act as a bridge between the EMS, component suppliers, and eero commodity managers to quickly resolve.
• Monitor component lead times and ensure adjustments are implemented at the EMS
• Determine buffer stock requirements and setup a monitoring system to ensure compliance
• Evaluate Excess claims and ensure all claims are justified.
• Participate in MRB and determine eero liability. Submit requests to eero for PO’s and obtain scrap certificates as required from EMS.
• Monitor “bone-pile” inventory and maintain ageing metrics
• Manage component End of Life, Engineering Change Order (ECO), Material Change Order (MCO) transition at the factory
• Review monthly cost files to determine price change phase in or inventory buy down requirement
• Ensure EMS compliance to eero specified component allocation
• Evaluate Purchase Price Variance (PPV) requests. Maintain PPV approvals and document any difference between approved and actual PPV.
• Coordinate eero owned inventory and reconcile PO receipts. Maintain inventory list.
• Identify areas for cost reduction at the EMS and determine cost impacts of each improvement
  
  

Basic Qualifications

Minimum required skills & traits:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Fluent in Vietnamese, excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel to local manufacturing facilities and suppliers for regular meetings and as required to resolve issues
• Experience working with or as a supplier for Electronic Manufacturing Services companies
• Experience with global component sourcing
• Must have ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and resolve problems independently, reporting to management in the USA
• Expertise in Excel
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding Mandarin Chinese, verbal and written, is a plus
• Knowledge of statistical methods is a plus
• JIRA and Confluence experience is a plus
