PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The incumbent is responsible to technical support in related territory. The incumbent works as a channel among sales, marketing and senior management by implementing planned strategy within the sales force.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Technical Support
- Provide onsite technical support during implants, follow-up visits and, where applicable, system setup & programming of pacemakers, leads, programmers and monitoring equipment.
- Performs checks/interrogations for BIOTRONIK CRM medical device systems.
- Provide troubleshooting support as requested.
- Maintain a competent and current level of knowledge in cardiac pacing, defibrillators and electrophysiology in general.
- Provide on-call coverage 24 hours per day and up to 7 days per week.
- Collect and report feedback from hospital users, monitor field performance of products, support escalation of quality/service issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all activities adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements (e.g. medical device laws in Vietnam) and hospital standards for safety and quality.
- Conduct monthly reviews and share clinical/technical field insights to keep the team updated and aligned with regional guidance.
- Provide in service training physicians, hospital personnel and technical staff on company products .
- Provide educating and training new clinical specialists, territory managers, interns and distributor representatives in the field.
- Partners with territory managers and distributors to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs; has a basic understanding of BIOTRONIK CRM products and solutions to offer value to the customers.
- Independently identifies customer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to territory managers to support sales objectives.
- Stays up to date on new products, solutions and patient management offerings
- Completes all assigned training in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Bio Science/Engineering/Healthcare or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years healthcare industry experience with proven track record in medical device sales to doctors/hospitals.
- Strong written and verbal skills in English.
- Experiences of providing clinical /technical support for implanted devices .
- Able to Identify, establish and develop relationships with doctors to support company product lines.
- Good knowledge of working in sterile room environment and medical device product lines through direct physician interaction and procedural consultation.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and driven.
