Responsibilities:

• Responsible for month end tasks for the Vietnam ledgers within the Group, including:

▪ Accruals and Provisions;

▪ Prepayments;

▪ Fixed assets;

▪ Intercompany reconciliations;

▪ Revaluations;

▪ Other items as required.

• Responsible for bookkeeping in Vietnamese accounting software system (Misa) and preparing required documents.

• Preparation of tax declarations, maintain accounting records, and create financial statements, profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and other reports as required by management.

• Responsible for the transparency and accuracy of accounting data.

• Analyze financial reports to identify tax trends and risks and propose solutions.

• Reviewing and approving transactions posted by the Group Transactional Team.

• Responsible for customer invoicing and managing collections for Vietnam entities within Group.

• Liaise with external Auditors in relation to the annual audit.

• Liaise with the local tax authorities for local tax compliance and assist with the preparation and lodgement of local statutory direct and indirect taxation requirements, including VAT returns and corporate income tax finalization.

• Liaise with external Banking contacts where required.

• Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor or above Degree in Accountancy, Finance , Business, Commerce or related field.

• Having Chief Accountant Certificate (required)

• CPA or ACCA , or other equivalent global accounting qualification (preferred).

• 3+ years of experience in general accounting or chief accountant roles.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience using large ERP Systems (Workday advantageous).

• Experience using Misa.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.

• Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.
