Manage purchasing parameters in AS400 and keep it updated and accurate.
Placement of orders with vendors, as well as, expediting, deferring and canceling.
Master the progress of ongoing new programs and make it happen as fast as possible.
Communication and management of vendors.
- Daily order delivery communications.
- Weekly forecast communication.
- Monthly / Periodically review with vendors to point out their strengthen and weakness and action plan if needed.
- Yearly / Periodically review the purchasing volume/value with Vendor to set up next price target.
Analyzing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels; do not store slow moving aged inventory.
Basic technical mastery of product managed by.
- Understanding the basic test need and how it performed.
- Basic production process.
- Filing all the technical standard and master sample.
Responsible for completing personal professional development plan.
Performs other related jobs as assigned by Supervisor/ Dept Head.

Education:

- Apics certification preferred.
- Four- year university degree or similar level of knowledge and experience.
Experience: 2- 5 year experience in purchasing.
Knowledge of Product and process knowledge.

Skills and Abilities:
- Good inventory management.
- Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Systems and continuous improvement orientation.
- Planning: an ability to think ahead and prepare action plan to achieve results.
- Reporting skill &Data sensitiveness: PowerBI, Query, SQL, Python is advantage.
- Measure and control performance goals and standards.
- Must be able to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity, cost).
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PP).

*Work in shifts (from 1:00PM- 9:00PM), allowance is provided.
