POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping Assistant to support administrative and operational tasks with a background in accounting or bookkeeping. This role primarily involves virtual and personal assistant duties, and will work closely with a supervisor to oversee administrative and consulting tasks, providing backup support to ensure smooth financial operation.
COMPENSATION
12,000,000 VND - 15,000,000 VND monthly
WORKING HOURS
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, as follows:
- Monday: Evening Shift 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM Vietnam Time (4 hours)
- Tuesday-Friday: Morning Shift: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Vietnam Time (4 hours)
Evening Shift: 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM Vietnam Time (4 hours)
- Saturday: Morning Shift: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Vietnam Time (4 hours)
Zoom meetings required during working hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform administrative tasks, including organizing schedules and maintaining records, while ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders
- Schedule and arrange meetings with vendors and other stakeholders on behalf of the supervisor
- Take meeting notes, maintain accurate records, and track follow-ups
- Manage emails by composing, sending, and following up with vendors and customers as needed
- Input and oversee data related to the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and organization
- Draft and review documents or contracts for accuracy and proper formatting
- Assist in reviewing and overseeing financial documents, consulting on any issues, and reporting them to the accounting team for resolution
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficient in Vietnamese (fluent) and English (intermediate) with a solid understanding of accounting terminology and effective communication skills
- 2-3 years of experience in junior accounting or bookkeeping roles
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records with excellent organizational and consulting skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comfortable working remotely and capable of managing time efficiently
