About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as an Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Counselling Coordinator (Hanoi based). This position is crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in Hanoi and the Northern area within the international education community. The Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Counselling Coordinator (Hanoi based) will play a vital role in providing expert guidance and support to prospective students, and parents navigating the complexities of all programs of Fulbright University

Roles and Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including prospective students, high schools, universities and colleges, partner institutions, agencies, government educational entities and industry representatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering trust and understanding.
- Develop yearly activity plans that improve stakeholder interactions and provide chances to engage with high school students to generate sales pipelines. These plans should be the outcome of engagement activities.
- Organize and manage events and activities pertaining to important stakeholders, particularly high schools, to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Represent the university at education conferences, workshops, and events, promoting the university's programs and initiatives.
- Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions on Fulbright University and its programs including application and admission processes
- Support the coordination of student recruitment-related events, workshops, and conferences.
- Keep abreast of rivals' product offerings and market trends to identify and highlight points of uniqueness and refresh the close-sell pitch on a regular basis.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of engagement and outreach activities, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
Counseling:
- Provide comprehensive counseling and guidance to prospective students and parents on all aspects of Fulbright University and its programs, including entry requirements, application and admissions processes, funding and scholarship opportunities.
- Develop and maintain resources and materials to support prospective students.
- Collaborate with the Admission department to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for prospective students.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the university's international education communication strategies.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in Vietnamese and English.
- Perform any other duties as required.
What we look for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, education management, marketing, or related fields.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in international education, stakeholder engagement, or counseling roles.
- Strong familiarity with working with schools, universities, and community organizations in Vietnam, ideally within a bilingual or international context.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong understanding of the global education landscape, including local and international student mobility, and cultural considerations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Vietnamese and English.
- Experience working with student information systems and other relevant software platforms is preferred.
