General Purpose of the Position
Engineering and processing support for plastic material extruding and compound to injection production. Control support for material consumption and material team (crushing, extruder)
Job Responsibilities/duties
Material Planning & Inventory Management
• Develop and execute material compound plans for the heelcounter area based on inventory levels and production schedules.
• Monitor and reconcile system data with actual material usage in the factory.
• Prepare and implement monthly material inventory plans.
Process Optimization & Cost Reduction
• Conduct trials of new material formulations to reduce production costs and enhance product performance and quality.
• Continuously improve material handling and processing workflows within the factory.
Issue Resolution & Quality Control
• Respond promptly to material shortages or quality-related issues to minimize production disruptions.
Documentation & Compliance
• Draft, update, and maintain ISO, LPA, and other relevant documentation in compliance with company and industry standards.
Workplace Safety & Organization
• Supervise the implementation of 5S practices and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations within the department.• Experience in material engineering/processing, special extruding or compound
• Degree in Engineering or Chemistry preferred, preferably candidates with polyurethane or material studies and/or professional background
• At least 2 years experience as Material Engineer for plastic industry
• Office computer skills
• Good English communication
• Experience in footwears industry, plastic production is a plus
