Responsibilities
Sales Management
• Leading and directing strategic planning and analysis relating to hotel sales, market intelligence activities, and business prospecting, i.e. develop and maintain relationship with key clients in order to produce groups and / or conference business, to maximize room sales
• Interacting with potential clients and industry trade representatives to generate corporate business or MICE group
• Maintaining organic communication networks to ensure that the hotel has a competitive advantage in information and sales leads
• Leading, organizing and controlling the sales team; while managing, coaching, and planning effectively to motivate them in achieving targeted results
People Management, Associate Support and Supervision
• Understanding, continuing update and implementation of the relevant policies, procedures and service delivery standards of the above specified department/division, this position and its direct subordinates, if there are any
• Understanding, continuing update and implementation of the human resources policies, procedures and code of conduct; while promoting management, team and cross department support, leadership, professionalism and good relations
• Maintaining and promoting communication efficiency for general and work specific information, to include the conduct of regular meetings and/or discussions on work activities, service delivery, continuing work system improvement, and the like
• Developing and maintaining a sales organization with sound structure, delegation and relationships that will ensure that the most work is done by the fewest people at a reasonable cost, with the greatest satisfaction to the people performing the work
• Managing the department’s human resources related activities, including recruitment, performance management, training, career planning, disciplinary matters, and team motivation
• Performing other related duties and functions assigned by Director of Sales and Marketing
Other Responsibilities
• Furnishing monthly sales & marketing reports and related documentation on a timely basis; analyzing the results and recommend ways to improve revenue generation and profitability
• Ensuring full implementation, updating and or continuing review of the Sales and Marketing policies and procedures, professional business and marketing plans, department and instruction manuals, among other related documentation
• Performing other related duties and functions which may be assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing

Yêu cầu hồ sơ
• Over 10 years’ in a senior management role with proven leadership capabilities, multiple industry exposure is a plus
• Over 4 years hospitality operations experience as a Sales & Marketing Manager/Director with proved performance record in a dynamic hotel, international assignments and pre-opening experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality management, business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, or equivalent; post graduate studies will be considered
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, other languages a plus
• Strong financial and commercial acumen; strong experience developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, leading the department’s initiatives and programs to achieve revenue targets and KPIs, actively sourcing and continually developing new revenue streams
• Strong leadership skills; good at coaching and empowering others
• Achieving business results and showcasing analytical thinking, concern for order and quality, customer service orientation and managing organizational resources; demonstrates high-level planning, organizing and coordinating, problem solving and judgment
• Strong in interpersonal relationships and conflict management, guest/client development, impact and influencing; active listening, understanding and responding to feedback and requests; is service-oriented and demonstrations teamwork and cooperation
• Knowledgeable and experience in sales forecast, revenue and cost control, manning plan, and budgeting
• Hands-on experience in managing and leading front office, food and beverage and housekeeping operations cohesively
• Ability to think critically, offer solutions, anticipate problems and provide action plan formulation and provide high level of attention to detail
• Embraces team and system diversities, organizational and team interrelationships at multiple levels
• Computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Hotel operations systems and POS
