Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join JDI’s revenue team. This internship position is for tertiary (diploma/undergrad/grad) students who are keen to be a part of Southeast Asia’s burgeoning tech ecosystem, offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in B2B sales and business development.
You will be treated like a full-time colleague, and not be confined to a typical internship stint. This means that we will hold you accountable for your commitment to produce meaningful work and an impactful outcome! There will be an opportunity to convert this internship into a full-time position upon evaluation from the respective managers.

Learning Opportunities
You will be engaging founders and leadership teams of fast-growing tech companies across the Southeast Asian region. Your role is to support the entire sales process from end-to-end, for our Talent JDI and Launch JDI business units, guided by our playbook and processes, with the use of digital sales tools and methodologies, as follows.
● Lead Generation: Research, identify, outreach to prospective clients and partners
● Lead Nurturing: Engage our database of contacts actively, through a mix of thought leadership, value creation, and creativity, to drive funnel conversion.
● Lead Qualification: Conduct MQL and SQL meetings with prospects, by using the CHAMP framework to objectively determine the most promising opportunities.
● Sales: Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to each deal, assist in the negotiation and closing of deals with clients.
● Sales & BD Support: Assist in creating and maintaining our leads and contacts databases, as well as the tracking of sales activities and key metrics.
● OKRs: A useful framework and bottom-up channel for you to develop and align your desired achievements and professional growth during your tenure with us.

● Enrolled in a business administration or related programme with a tertiary institution.
● Fully committed, focused and accountable through the entire internship duration.
● Loves getting shit done.
● A keen interest in business development and sales is a must.
● Enthusiasm for technology and innovation is a plus.
● A self-starter and fast learner, with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt fast.
● Excellent written/verbal communicator, with the ability to articulate clearly & logically
● An independent worker and effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills
● A good sense of humerus is a bone-us
