About Us

In today's world, where consumer tastes and preferences are diverse, marketing methods have become complex and varied, and the tendency is that only large companies and agencies with capital can reap the benefits of high-quality and effective marketing.

Meanwhile, Japan's working-age population continues to decline, and the cost and difficulty of retaining marketing talent in-house are increasing. Against this backdrop, the Novasel business was launched as a new business within the Raksul Group under the vision of "democratizing marketing."

Between 2014 and 2019, the Raksul Group invested more than 5 billion yen in TV commercials over five years and increased its sales twentyfold. Novasel has productized the marketing know-how gained in that process and has developed services such as "Novasel Analytics," which instantly visualizes the advertising effectiveness of TV commercials; "Novasel Trend," which allows you to view the TV commercial effects of approximately 5,000 brands for free; and "Novasel Professional," in which professionals evaluate and improve marketing operations.

Responsibilities

In recent years Novasel has been focusing on developing solutions that utilize generative AI and machine learning. Meanwhile, the team is relatively young: members have high potential, but there is still room for organizational muscle to produce sufficient output continuously. To realize our vision together, we are looking for a Tech Lead who enjoys change and can raise the organization's productivity and output.

Because the organization's overall experience is relatively shallow, we expect you either to drive members' bottom-up development or to lead the organization with overwhelming engineering power. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for design through implementation and operation. We expect you to deeply understand customer issues and enjoy leading the transformation of industry structures together.

▼ Leadership required for this position:

• Technical support for operating and improving the service
• Technical research and selection of programming languages, frameworks, and libraries
• Technical support for members and Team management

▼ Specific duties to achieve this:

• Train, mentor, and coach technical members to maintain Novasel's technological competitiveness
• Maintain and improve development productivity (e.g., design product KPIs and design/measure the four key metrics)
• Build highly productive development teams

▼ Mission:

• Lead product development to realize the vision of "democratizing marketing" and spread "good advertising experiences" to consumers, and directly contribute to business growth by formulating technology strategy.
• Combine market-leading AI technologies with the organization's diverse knowledge and data assets to create unique solutions that competitors cannot follow. Maximize the potential of LLMs and fundamentally overturn the traditional concept of BPO. Drive a paradigm shift across the industry through technical challenges.
• Lead the engineering organization and contribute to improving the capabilities of the entire team through the development of members. By fostering a culture that ensures psychological safety and enables candid and constructive feedback, create an environment where members can comfortably demonstrate their abilities and strengthen the organization.

▼ Must have:

• Experience as a tech lead or architect
• Experience designing products and infrastructure as a full stack
• Practical experience developing back-end systems using languages such as Ruby, Java, or Python, or front-end technologies
• Experience growing team size (e.g., recruitment, training, organizational design)
• Deep understanding of technology and a desire to continuously improve
