Overall Job Purpose:

We are SCC – Specialist Computer Centres – Europe’s leading provider of IT services and solutions. An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Software Developer to join an exciting and challenging IC project.
This role is a great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer. We are looking for a full-stack Developer who will get involved in the agile process including analysing the requirement, creating solutions, developing & guaranteeing quality. The ideal candidate must have experience with .Net technology, Python, Microservice, Dockerization, Web API application as well as front-end web application using Angular, Material Design, TypeScript and SCSS. Nice to have with following trending technologies: Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Successful candidate will work within the SCC IT Development team to design, develop and maintain for IT projects within the SCC Group. They will also perform any other duties which may be allocated to them due to developing technologies and business requirements.

Main Duties of Job:

• Working on digital transformation projects, applications modernization.
• Develop new user-facing features, ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX.
• Maintain and enhance current features of the Hub portal.
• Work collaborative with other team members and stakeholders from UK.
• Following agile methodology for software development process, apply DevOps process.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Proactive self-study to keep up to date latest .Net technologies, cloud-native apps with Azure/ AWS.
• Attend daily stand-ups, retrospectives and sprint planning sessions.
• Taking responsibility for projects/tasks and reporting of progress to Team lead/ UK manager.

Required

• Must have 05+ years of working experience in software web development.
• Has experience with cloud-based apps, dockerization application using Microservices architecture.
• Has solid experience with Python, Azure Functions App, .Net technologies: C#, Web API, .NetCore, Linq and SqlServer database.
• Has experience for front-end design of UI/UX using JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, JSON, Typescript and web responsive.
• Experience in DevOps process, CI/CD pipelines and Git framework.
• Familiar with Agile methodology and Scrum framework for software development process.
• Willing to learn new technologies, proactive researching and self-studying to get understanding new domain knowledge such as AI, ML, Data Analytics and Data Warehouse.
• English communication both in verbal and writing.
• Ability work well in individual as well as in a team across multiple locations.

Advantageous

• Build cloud-native apps based on Azure/AWS. Dockerizing an application.
• Has knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Analytics, Data Warehouse. Building analytic reports using Power BI.
• Automation testing using Webdriver.io or Selenium.
