ABOUT THE JOB
Job Summary:
The Senior Cargo Sales Executive is responsible for driving cargo revenue by developing strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and other key stakeholders. This role requires a proactive sales approach, market intelligence, and the ability to secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics companies.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve cargo revenue targets.
- Promote SKYPAC’s GSSA cargo services and expand market share in the assigned region.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with customers.
- Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to enhance cargo sales.
Account Management
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and partners.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular visits, meetings, and follow-ups with key customers.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, airline capacity, and competitor activities.
- Analyze market demands and recommend pricing strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and market conditions.
Coordination & Operations Support
- Work closely with airline partners, ground handling agents, and operations teams.
- Ensure smooth coordination of cargo bookings, space allocation, and documentation.
- Assist in optimizing cargo loads and ensuring maximum yield.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Prepare sales reports, market insights, and performance analysis for management.
- Ensure compliance with airline policies, cargo regulations, and company standards.
Requirement & Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Aviation, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of cargo sales experience in the airline, GSSA, or freight forwarding industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of air cargo operations, market trends, and airline sales strategies.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (required); additional languages (e.g., Chinese, Thai, etc. ) are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with cargo booking systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Negotiation & Communication: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Focused: Ability to build long-term business relationships.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proactive & Results-Driven: Self-motivated with a strong sales mindset and ability to meet targets.
