- Develop and Implement Quality Standards:
- Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive quality standards for all product categories, including FMCG, fashion, electronics, and lifestyle products.
- Ensure the standards align with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Regularly review and update the quality standards to reflect product evolution, market changes, and emerging compliance requirements.
- Inbound Product Inspection:
- Monitor the quality of ongoing product lines in inventory, ensuring consistency in quality across all batches.
- Analyze customer feedback and return data to identify trends in product quality and adjust inspection protocols or escalate issues through the Sourcing team.
- Ongoing Product Quality Consistency:
- Monitor the quality of ongoing product lines in inventory, ensuring consistency in quality across all batches.
- Analyze customer feedback and return data to identify trends in product quality and adjust inspection protocols or escalate issues.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all products meet relevant safety regulations and legal requirements before being sold on the platform.
- Conduct risk assessments for new product categories and implement measures to mitigate potential quality issues.
- Customer Complaint Resolution:
- Collaborate with the customer service team to investigate and resolve quality-related customer complaints.
- Use customer feedback to refine quality standards and improve supplier quality.
- Other tasks/duties assigned by Head of Department/ Line Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- 4-6 years of experience in quality control. Experience in e-commerce, retail.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to develop and lead a QC team.
- Proven ability to develop and implement quality standards for diverse product categories.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and collaborative attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple purchasing order and suppliers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices.
