We are looking for a General accountant and CEO’s assistant with excellent communication skills to join our team. Individuals must be able to problem solve while working within a teamwork environment. This position must have an advanced understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices, familiar with QuickBooks® Online and QuickBooks® Desktop software. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities and the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
**Roles and Responsibilities
As a General Accountant you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and bookkeeping activities for the company by using the QuickBooks Online platform. Your duties will include:
- Accurately recording and categorizing financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and expenses - Reconciling bank and credit card statements - Generating and reviewing financial statements, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets - Providing financial insights and recommendations to CFO based on financial data - Managing accounts payable and receivable - Performing periodic audits to identify and correct errors in financial data - Collaborating with accounting services firm, CFO and other members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting - Providing training and support to team member on the use of QuickBooks Online - Staying up to date with the latest changes to QuickBooks Online and accounting best practices - Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, completing expense reports. - composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings. - Plans, coordinates, and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected. Provides - "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO's time and office. - Communicates directly, and on behalf of CEO, with Board members, foundation staff, and others, on matters related to CEO's programmatic initiatives. - Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response. - Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO and internal departments: demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff. - Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming. - Commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. - Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CEO updated. - Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and - manages a variety of special projects for CEO, some of which may have organizational impact. - Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company. - Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

- University degree: Finance/Accountant/Business administration - English proficiency - Excellent: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Timeline - ERP/CRM Experience (Business Central/Salesforce preferred) - MB-800: Business Central Functional Consultant certification a huge plus - International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a huge plus - American and Vietnamese Accounting and finance experience. - At least 5 years experiences similar position or have experience about finance analyst - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally - Strong time management skills and high attention to detail - Able work independently with systematic working methodology - Absolute integrity and discretion always with respect to business conversations and confidential information - Able to travel domestically/international (customers, suppliers) - Able to have flexible working hours as required
