About The Function
Our team are set up in Berlin, Singapore and Vietnam and we continuously develop our products using agile development practices. We have an open company culture with over 20 different nationalities operating in a booming market working on interesting projects using modern tech-stack, efficient and lean workflows.
TheDatajet team is working on a search recommendation engine that is used by GFG's regions and we are looking to roll it out to the 17 countries where we operate. As part of the team in this role as SeniorGolang Engineer, you will support this goal by ensuring a relevant catalog of millions of products is available to over 50 million users across 12 countries.
Our platform delivers the core product to power search and recommendations to our brands in growth markets, and our team's goal is to make every product in our extensive assortment discoverable.

About The Role
- You will be responsible for helping our regions to find the best match between their customer needs and products
- You will build and maintain scalable Golang-centric applications by contributing to our codebase on a daily basis
- You will cover code by tests
- You will be responsible for building large concurrent applications
- You will be able to diagnose problems at any level (Client, HTTP/Network, Server, Database, OS)
- You will convey solid experience in developing high performant Golang web-based applications
- You have experience working with Elasticsearch (how to rank results, make queries, mapping, etc.)
- You have experience in building microservices, ideally deployed in Docker containers on Kubernetes
- You bring some experience with RDBMS & NoSQL datastores
- You have designed, developed and ran large scale production environments closely with DevOps/SRE
- You are a continuous learner and like to find new ways to do things
- Good communication skills, spoken and written English
- A hands-on, can-do attitude
- AWS / K8s / Kafka / Postgresql experience
- Exposure to e-commerce environments

Lịch sử thành lập
- Trong năm 2011 và 2012, các công ty khu vực của GFG bắt đầu hoạt động với mô hình kinh doanh bán hàng tồn kho cho khách hàng từ chính kho hàng của mình.
- Từ năm 2013, các công ty trong khu vực GFG bắt đầu tạo nhãn hiệu riêng của họ , chẳng hạn như Lost Ink và ZALORA (trước đây là Ezra).
