Who we are?

A Dutch-owned destination management company founded in 1994, with headquarters in Bangkok and branch offices across Asia. Our main clientele come from the US, European, and Australian markets. Our team is young, proactive, and creative, bringing fresh ideas and hands-on expertise to design meaningful travel experiences across the region.

What we do?

The Operations Intern is part of the Operations Department at JD Tours. At the core of our work is making our clients fall in love with our efficiency, organization, and punctuality and going above and beyond to ensure clients have the best experience while in Vietnam. 

What you can learn during the internship period?

• Direct oversight of all requests for bookings/ reservations and confirmations with suppliers.
• Oversee local guide recruitment, and rostering, and manage and execute in conjunction with other staff.
• Briefing assigned guides and drivers before the start of tours.
• Handle the operations hotline, on a roster basis, and conduct courtesy calls.
• Preparation of confirmed services of each file from the Inbound team.
• Provide and update any change of service of client-in-house.
• Record, confirm, and prepare service of booked optional tours.
• Update and finalize the actual service and cost of each file to the accounting team.
• Book or reconfirm to the supplier/ vendor of required service of each file.
• Prepare and collect filled questionnaires by clients from guides.
• Receive the guide report on the actual cost of operation and report it to our accounting team.
• To prepare, provide and confirm specific services required.

What we’re looking for:

• Vietnamese National.
• Bachelor’s degree holder or final-year student (preferably in Tourism, Business, or Communications).
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
• Quick learner, proactive, and adaptable to new systems and tools.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Eager to gain hands-on experience and learn on the job.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for six months (mid April–mid October 2026).
