You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your procurement, carrier + relationship management expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence.
Your Role
Your primary objective will be to support capacity + pricing procurement for regular as well as adhoc business + trade lanes by ensuring Carrier Management is a priority + key factor in gaining + retaining customers, always in alignment with policy. You will need to liaise with internal + external stakeholders while aligning the interests of each with our key objectives.

You will need to liaise with internal + external stakeholders while aligning the interests of each with our key objectives.
Your Responsibilities
- To lay out a procurement plan for assigned area of responsibility in alignment with larger initiatives.
- To evaluate current carrier share for key trade lanes, recommending optimization measures to maximize core carrier share.
- To evaluate opportunities to consolidate current volumes to achieve better yields and help optimize ANR, laying the foundation for future business development opportunities.
- To work with the procurement team in the promotion of consol / build up pallet deals, helping to create efficiencies in our long term procurement efforts.
- To evaluate carrier metrics + ensure volume allocations are in line with targets to support PCP program success.
- To monitor + push for maximization of volumes via our Gateways, to achieve better consol benefits as well as supporting cost management.
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Import/ Export, Logistics, or related fields
- Having at least 2 years working experience in capacity/ pricing/ gateway in Air Logistics of Freight forwarding companies.
- Having good knowledge of foreign trade, forwarding and import/ export process
- Experienced in working & dealing with air lines.
- Customer orientation
- Good at communication, negotiation and time management skills.
- Good at Analytical & Organizing skills.
- Good command of English
