The company's flagship product is a web-based application designed to manage large-scale media libraries (photos, videos, audio files, documents...). As a direct result of 15+ years of independent R&D, Cortex is the most flexible DAM on the market and the solution chosen by Reuters, BBC, United Nations, National Geographic, WWF,… to manage their large digital assets libraries

MISSION:

The QA Manager oversees the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and development processes.

Essential Functions:

• Set up quality standards: You help develop and maintain a company's quality standards and design, implement, and improve a company's current quality standards.
• Planning and growth: You have the ownership of formulating and implementing testing methods/strategies to increase productivity.
• Determine proper metrics: You prepare documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends at the company, including failed prophecies, stability studies, recalls, and corrective actions taken.
• Build a high-value team: You assist in the recruiting process where you train, motivate, and coach employees to ensure that standards are met.
• Connect departments: You monitor cross-team activity and identify bottlenecks to ensure that all features work in alignment with each other.

PROFILE:

The most successful candidates for this role will have:

• 8+ years of experience with at least 3 years of experience working as a QA Manager/Lead.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
• Experience in conducting test strategy and execution.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• A problem solver with strict attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Automation testing exp (nice to have).
• Strong capacity to synthesize complex concepts.
• Have some experience in cloud software and systems.
