The role of the mechanical discipline technician is to supervise the maintenance work activities, ensuring that the repair and installation works are completed according to the required specifications as well as in compliance with company's safety regulations.
The responsibilities as below:
1. To take the direction from Lead Technician and prepare the tools and materials.
2. To organize and plan for static equipment maintenance works.
3. To book the crane If lifting required and follow up scaffolding and Insulation work if needed.
4. To inform to QC team if QC related work.
5. To report any safety incident / accident and near miss to HSSE persons immediately.
6. To conduct sequence of work steps to craftsman to understanding of the work.
7. To report to supervisors on errors and work with leader for the relevant change and reworks.
8. To monitor the works carried out by the welders and their production so as to ensure activities are carried out according to specifications. To conduct visual inspection of joints, RT, UT, MT and all hydro test works.
9. To perform full welding of pipes for piping installation, reactors, boiler, pressure vessels, pipe track, slippers way, exchangers, etc
10. To monitor compliance of safety regulations (ex.: HSSE training, PPE, ...) and observe safe work practices during the execution of the maintenance tasks.
11. Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or higher management.1. Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Petroleum / Oil / Gas) or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years relevant experience in the same capacity, preferably in similar or related industries.
3. Good command of English.
4. Have knowledge in international standards, petroleum/petrochemical plant materials and equipment.
5. Competency in Microsoft applications.
6. Good Communication Skills.Thưởng
