Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Java Backend Engineer at Viettel High Tech in Hanoi. The Backend Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, and programming as part of their day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Core Skills:
• Proficient in Back-End Development, OOP principles, and Software Design Patterns.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring framework for developing backend services on private cloud platforms.
• Skilled in building cloud-native applications from scratch, including platform architecture and deployment.
• Private Cloud Expertise:
• Ability to design and manage a custom private cloud infrastructure, implementing essential cloud services and resources.
• Experience with virtualization, networking, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for efficient service orchestration.
• Knowledge of data security, encryption, and cloud compliance to ensure robust, secure applications.
• Data and Computer Vision: Background in data mining and computer vision applications, particularly for camera feed integration and image data processing.
• Additional Skills:
• Basic Front-End Development knowledge to facilitate seamless API integrations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for custom cloud-based applications.
