This role is responsible for providing financial leadership for Vietnam. The person will be involved in and partner with the business to set strategy and deliver on achieving key strategic targets including annual financial targets (e.g. Revenue, EBIT, Capex, NWC, DSO, DPO, cost saving, etc). The person will be responsible for driving and ensuring fiscal / tax discipline in Vietnam and leading and developing a high-performance finance team. At its core, this role will ensure that there is a strong partnership with the business including providing commercial finance support for our customer contracts. In addition, the person will ensure ongoing financial management and health of the Business and its ability to meet its financial obligations as well as providing senior management with timely financial performance reporting, analysis, budgets and forecasts.
The FBP will be responsible for driving the Finance strategic plan in the following key areas:
- Drive profitability by partnering with the business to set strategic goals, monitor these goals and determine solutions to improve business and financial performance.
- Proactively provide commercial support and partner with the business to support our customers in the “sales to delivery”.
- Pursue capital productivity by driving capital expenditure policy and optimisation of resources (including cash management) to maximise returns in line with strategy.
- Ensure all financial reports are prepared in an accurate & timely manner and ensure information for the material business operation has been included.
- Maintain effective systems of internal controls and adherence to Group Financial Accounting.
- Ensure compliance with Group and statutory policies, tax regulations & requirements.
- A focus on creating a high performing finance team, attracting, continually developing/nurturing in-house and retaining talent.
- Lead financial direction and strategy with the Divisional Finance Lead and identify and/ or make decisions on handling of complex accounting and financial reporting issues.
- Involvement with capital expenditure proposals.
- Prepare and develop budget/forecast pack to ensure the integrity & relevance of financial information included. Provide the management with relevant financial analysis required to develop a budget/forecast.
- Ensure optimal financial performance within the Business by monitoring the results of business activities, identifying variation and initiating corrective actions.
- Liaise closely with local Authority for accounting and tax compliance.
- Evaluate and monitor Toll risks, e.g. credit and collection exposure, expenditure, funding, taxation, regulatory environment, insurance coverage, and general and commercial risks so as to ensure that the business’ is kept to a minimum at all times.
- Improve financial control and integrity within the Business through the development, implementation and ongoing support of systems, processes and policies which support the operational requirements; down to contract level where appropriate.

Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in Finance in a company of similar scale and complexity.
- Strong local tax knowledge
- Relevant logistics industry sector experience would be advantageous.
- Experience managing change and integration challenges in a transformed environment is critical.
- Demonstrated business partnering experience of a close, productive working relationship supporting the Leadership team in assessing financial and commercial opportunities/risks throughout the business.
Qualifications
- Post graduate qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, international business or management.
- Membership of relevant professional body (CPA or equivalent).
Technical/Professional Skills
- Knowledge of accounting practices including IFRS and local reporting standards.
- SAP System (Must have)
- Microsoft applications including Power BI
