The duties and responsibilities of Native English Teacher include but is not limited to:

• Teaching IELTS material and preparation courses to Bachelor and Master students and industries which are partners of VGU when required;
• Teaching basic and advanced Academic English and study skills to Bachelor and Master students;
• Teaching Engineering English to Bachelor's and Master's students in engineering programs;
• Teaching Business English;
• Teaching communicative English to VGU's faculty and staff;
• Doing formative and summative assessments during the semester;
• Preparing exam topics and tasks to Bachelor's and Master's students;
• Giving speaking English or oral exams to Bachelor's and Master's students at the entrance levels;
• Developing curriculum and syllabus for new courses;
• Developing teaching materials, grading papers, and managing students' grades and exam papers.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

1. Qualification: 

• At least a Master University Degree in teaching English or a closely related field;
• Experiences or a sub-degree/certificate in teaching Engineering English is a plus;
• Recognized teaching qualifications, preferably Cambridge CELTA.

2. Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching English, with at least 1 year in Asia.
• Candidates with experience in IELTS Training, Engineering English or Academic English Courses will be favoured;
• Candidates with experience of curriculum and syllabus development will be favoured.

3. Knowledge, skills and behaviours required:

• Teaching English to learners of other languages;
• Teaching communicative and interpersonal skills; 
• Highly responsible;
• Open and willing to collaborate with other faculty and staff members at VGU and to work together with people from different cultural backgrounds;
• Innovative and dynamic;
• Capable of working under pressure;
• Prospective instructors are required to teach an average of 24 periods/week and have to be present on our main campus in Binh Duong New City up to five days/week.
