Salary: 15-20M gross

Working Time: US Working Time

• Full-time position aligned with US business hours (approximately 9PM-6AM Vietnam time)
• Flexibility to adjust schedule based on daylight saving time changes in the US

About this opportunity: 

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to work full-time during US business hours (evening/night hours in Vietnam time). You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting our client's digital finance platform operations.

You will:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines that process millions of financial transactions daily
• Monitor and optimize database performance and data flow architecture
• Implement data quality checks and resolve data integrity issues
• Collaborate with US-based client teams for real-time problem solving
• Create and maintain documentation for data systems and processes
• Provide operational support during US business hours
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues during critical processing windows
• Design and implement data models that support financial reporting and analytics

Your Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala preferred)
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Financial services industry experience preferred
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently during US time zone hours
